More Than 32 Million Hotel Guests Stayed Across the UAE in 2025

The UAE is becoming an increasingly diverse travel destination

More than 32 million guests stayed in hotel establishments across the UAE during 2025.

Official figures also showed hotel revenues of AED 49.21 billion, while the national hotel inventory reached around 217,000 rooms across more than 1,240 establishments.

These numbers reflect something important for travellers: the UAE is no longer experienced only through one city or one type of holiday.

Different emirates offer different kinds of trips

A visitor could combine several experiences in one journey.

For example:

  • Dubai for major attractions, shopping and events;
  • Abu Dhabi for cultural landmarks and city experiences;
  • Sharjah for museums and heritage;
  • Ras Al Khaimah for resorts and mountains;
  • Fujairah for the east coast and outdoor scenery.

That variety gives travellers more freedom when planning longer stays.

Why this matters for visa and travel planning

As tourism grows, more visitors may choose multi-emirate itineraries rather than staying in one place.

Before travelling, visitors should check:

  • their UAE entry requirements;
  • the correct visa type;
  • passport validity;
  • travel dates;
  • hotel and transport bookings.

A well-planned itinerary can make it much easier to experience more than one part of the country during the same visit.

The UAE’s tourism growth is creating more choice for travellers, from city breaks and luxury resorts to cultural trips and outdoor experiences.
